A Chat with Pam: Feedback from Reveals

with 2 Comments

Today makes it 8 months that  A Chat with Pam came into existence and so far, we have revealed 17 individuals, 15 females and 2 males.

A Chat with Pam started off as challenge to just interview women and as at then, the idea wasn’t clear.

However, one thing I have learnt is: when God gives you an idea or vision, just carry on with it, as you move on, He will make things clearer along the way.

Although we have revealed two male figures, A Chat with Pam is a platform that reveals Young Female African Startup Entrepreneurs and Young African Females in general who are making waves. The platform is aimed to serve as a form of empowerment, encouragement, inspiration and motivation all directed towards moving women to launching out in whatever way they can.

Today’s episode will be different as we will be getting feedback from some of our REVEALS on how they have been doing so far?

Pam: What advice would you love to leave with our audience?
You may not feel enough or adequate. You may not feel like you have the knowledge, experience, or resources to do it but one of the most important lessons I learnt this year was to not focus so much on my inadequacies that I forget about the grace of God. It is also important to obey every instruction He gives you whether it makes sense or not because nothing that you do in obedience to God is small or insignificant.

AMARACHI ONWUKWE

Pam: What have you been up to since you have been revealed?

I have been planning on my latest project. Which should be launched next year, by God’s grace.

Pam: What milestones have you achieved since you were revealed?

Well quite a few. I was working on a few investment projects and we have kicked off the pilot of one of them. That is something am very excited about.

Pam: What milestone(s) do you have in view for 2017?

Well, to fully launch out my latest project and other projects in view. It’s been a long time coming…hahahaha

Pam: What major lesson have you learnt in 2016?

Ermm… I would rather say that I am still learning the lessons haha… and most importantly unlearning some habits and mind-sets that have drawn me back in 2016. One especially is not to wait till everything is perfect before you begin anything you want to begin. I cannot stress this enough! This has been my number 1 set back this year. The critical and perfectionist mind-set is something that is rooted in my core and hey, I have got some cultivation to do! We are the ones that keep ourselves from doing that which we are called to do. It is an uncomfortable place to be when you begin to up-root things that you felt was ‘the ideal’. But if you are serious about impacting your world, you must uproot, prune, and/or plant where necessary. Although I must add that it takes wisdom to know what to (uproot, prune, and/or plant) and of course when to do all these. It is your responsibility to seek wisdom that is profitable to direct in this department and all departments of your life.

Pam: what advice would you leave with our audience?

I would simply say, in all thy getting, get knowledge and understanding. In addition to these, seek to be a ‘doer’ of what you get to know and understand, not just a ‘hearer’ or ‘learner’. I rest my advice.

VANESSA DETOKUNBO-BELLO and VONGAI RUZIVE were both just REVEALED last week.

One major thing 2016 taught me is to TRUST GOD. I remember being terribly scared about 2016, but God asked me to TRUST HIM and I am glad I did. Another thing is no matter how big the vision is, don’t let it scare you, JUST DO IT AFRAID.

I am really blessed and proud to be associated with them all.

I know a lot of people would be doing lots of evaluations, even though you didn’t achieve all your goals, it is no reason for you to beat yourself up. Keep working hard and trusting God.

TO OUR READERS, I LOVE YOU AS MUCH AS I LOVE DRINKING MILO. Thank you for your constant love, encouragement, support, reading and sharing the posts. Thank you so so much.

Looking forward to empowering, encouraging, motivating and inspiring you to ACTION in 2017.

HAPPY  NEW YEAR IN ADVANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!
