…I will stand by you…

How significant is holding of hands to you?
I know it is a normal thing to hold hands but come to think of it, is it just really normal?
For me holding of hands isn’t just there.
When you lock hands with another, it is a promise to stand by that one, to be there for them, to have, to hold and to support.

Below is a picture of a father holding his little boy’s hand and to me that’s highly significant because he is saying “boy, I won’t abandon you. I love you so much and I would create time to teach you all that you need to know to stand out as a man of honour.”

What about these two young people? They don’t know what the future holds, but you see those hands locked together as one, is a promise that no matter what, they will always have eachother to hold. It is a commitment to love eachother forever.

And the couple? The deal is signed. The door is locked and the key is thrown away. They are holding eachother and affirming themselves that “though this is what they have both dreamt of, it doesn’t stop challenges from coming and no matter the stormy days, they will go through them together”

No matter the relationship “parent to child”, “boy to girl”, “man to woman”, “friend to friend” we must be ready to stand by eachother cause we definitely do need eachother.
So when that one offers a hand to you all they are saying is “stand by me” all they are asking for is your trust and don’t offer a hand back if you know you ain’t ready for such commitment.

You know what? This is the same way God is calling us to trust Him, to allow Him shower his love on us. I don’t know about you but that’s the only person who won’t never leave us nor forsake us.

It is another week and “am happy” you are alive to read this.
I still remain your humble “writographer”.
Stay motivated, stay inspired, stay fruitful.
